TELL YOUR CABLE COMPANIES TO ADD MHz WORLDVIEW!
While we are not yet on cable in the Los Angeles area, we are working on it! Contact your local service provider to let them know you want MHz Worldview added to their programming line-up. This action really helps our efforts in securing additional distribution in your area, as it lets the companies know just how many people appreciate our content.
Contact your customer service (number should be on your cable bill) & request that MHz Worldview (KLCS 58.4) be added to your service. This is helpful language to use when making your request:
Starting November 1, MHz Networks will be making closed captioning available across all of MHz Worldview.
Due to the international nature of our content, MHz has previously been exempt from having to initiate captioning across our schedule.
While this new launch of closed captioning allows MHz to fulfill FCC requirements, some viewers may be dismayed by the new captions and existing subtitles of some programs overlaying with one another in the lower portion of your screen.

As a journalist in Liberia during his country’s civil war in 1989, Kwame Clement, J.D. '98, realized he was wearing a target. So the 29-year-old fled with his wife in July 1990 and received political asylum in the United States.
You may have noticed that a number of our videos, specifically under the Mystery & Drama program, have a price (i.e. $4.99) in their Video Title. These videos are offered on a pay-per-view, rental basis.
Immediately upon pressing play on the Video, you will be presented with an in-player paywall which will prompt you to pay to watch the specific episode. The pricing on videos varies, but it is typically for 48-hour access to the video. You will be required to register an acount during the payment process, so you may login again and resume watching, within your rental period.
Once again it's taken another "upheaval event" outside the U.S. to warrant coverage by the major U.S. news networks. By now we're all accustomed to the sight of network anchors flying in to take over a story -- usually reporting live from the scene. It says to us that this is an important event worthy of our attention. But it also points to another reality: the big U.S. news networks have little, if any, consistent presence around the world. Fly-ins are how it's done now. Although they may seem to see things differently, when it comes to reporting international news, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and Fox News are all equally blind.
